We have created unique and effective programmes to support young women to be successful in the workplace, either as employees or in starting and running their own business.
They help to equip young women (between 13 - 19 years old) with the skills, knowledge & connections to thrive in any career path they choose.
In particular, we focus on empowering girls from the most disadvantaged backgrounds such as BAME and from low socioeconomic backgrounds as statistically, they face the most adversity throughout their career journey.
OUR INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Whether young women aspire to be an entrepreneur or not, our research has shown that entrepreneurial skills and innovative thinking is needed to be successful in the working world.
This programme teaches young women how to think creatively and to be effective problem solvers in the career world.
It is centred on the power of imagination and role play which make the programme fun and exciting for all participants.
OUR LEADERSHIP AND SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
This programme is focused on developing young women’s soft/transferable skills, employability knowledge and overall self-confidence preparing them to be leaders now and in their future careers.
Each session covers a different area of leadership and builds up to the finale presentation day.
Each programme is made up of 5 x 90 minute sessions and 1 x full day finale session
The programme can be delivered over 6 weeks (once a week) or 3 weeks (twice a week)
Up to 30 young women can participate in each programme
Each session is fun, dynamic and interactive
The sessions prepare young women to present at the 'End of Programme Finale' - one full day session off timetable
END OF PROGRAMME FINALE
Students will complete their presentations in groups and also have the opportunity to present in front of a panel of professionals. They will spend time doing the following:
Practising and perfecting their presentation
