Pay: £35/hour (delivery), £15/hour (preparation)

We partner with schools and community groups to deliver inspiring and practical workshops focused on employability and personal development.
About the Role
We’re currently building a small team of 3–4 Freelance Workshop Facilitators to help deliver school-based workshops and weekly career clinics in the Merton area. This is a flexible, part-time role that's perfect for professionals looking to earn extra income while making a meaningful impact.

In addition to the current school projects, there will be opportunities to run more workshops as we expand into other schools and programmes throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, career-focused workshops in schools (topics include CVs, interviews, LinkedIn, job applications, and workplace confidence).

Facilitate Career Clinics (2 hours per week) to support students with their individual employability needs.

Prepare for each session (1 hour of paid prep per workshop; additional prep time may be requested and approved as needed).

Create an inclusive, empowering environment using interactive teaching methods.

Build and maintain positive relationships with schools and act as an ambassador for Ms Independent Careers.

Support with basic project delivery and monitoring & evaluation, including collecting feedback and reporting impact.

Communicate regularly with the wider team and contribute to the development of our growing programmes.
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with young people in a facilitation, education, coaching or mentoring capacity.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

A passion for youth empowerment, employability and equal opportunities.

Reliable and self-motivated, with strong organisational skills.

Comfortable travelling to schools across Merton and surrounding areas.

Flexible and open to taking on more workshop opportunities as they arise.
Pay & Hours

£35/hour for delivering workshops

£15/hour for preparation (1 hour per 2-hour school session)

Career Clinic sessions: 2 hours per week at £35/hour

Additional paid prep time may be requested based on workshop needs
